To further strengthen the connections between alumni and the School, between alumni and current faculty and students, and among alumni themselves, on the afternoon of September 2, Wu Sen, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Economics and Management (SEM), led a delegation to visit China Postal Express & Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Postal Express & Logistics"). Shen Jing, an SEM alumna from the 2000 cohort of International Trade and Deputy General Manager of the Marketing Department of China Postal Express & Logistics, together with Tian Fang, head of the Manuscript Review Department of China Postal Advertising & Media Co., received Wu Sen and her delegation.
At the beginning of the event, Wu Sen and her delegation toured the smart enterprise hall on the first floor, experiencing firsthand terminal service scenarios such as intelligent parcel lockers and unmanned service stations, and gaining an in-depth understanding of the innovative applications of smart postal services in the field of convenient delivery.
At the seminar, both parties watched a video of China Post’s delivery drones, gaining a comprehensive understanding of China Post’s cutting-edge exploration and innovative achievements in the field of low-altitude logistics.

Shen Jing extended a warm welcome to the faculty and students of SEM. As the comprehensive express and logistics service provider that launched express delivery business earliest in China, offers the richest service products, and has the widest network coverage, China Postal Express & Logistics covers four major business segments—domestic EMS, express parcels, international business, and contract logistics—and continues to accelerate its transformation toward intelligent and unmanned operations. AI technology is profoundly reshaping the industry’s ecosystem, bringing challenges as well as even greater opportunities; she looks forward to the company and the School joining forces in collaborative talent cultivation and joint technology innovation.

Wu Sen expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception by China Postal Express & Logistics and highly praised the outstanding achievements it has made in promoting the high-quality development of China’s express and logistics industry. She highlighted the School’s notable progress in recent years in discipline development, faculty recruitment and cultivation, and talent training, and pointed out that this "Alumni Enterprise Visit" is an important opportunity to deepen school-enterprise collaboration. She expressed the hope of leveraging the connecting role of alumni resources to expand cooperation in areas such as industry-academia-research co-construction and student internships and employment, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.

Afterwards, both parties held in-depth exchanges around topics such as school-enterprise cooperation, the Maker Competition, industry trends in the AI era, and employment directions in key-account marketing.
Cheng Huanxiong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Dean and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the School; Qin Yifang, Director of the Alumni and Foundation Affairs Office; Fang Tianqun, employment guidance teacher; together with representatives of undergraduate and graduate students—nine participants in total—attended the event.
